We have been working from home and meeting with our friends and family on zoom for almost a year now. The zoom fatigue is real but we are here to help put some excitement back into meeting virtually.
1. Pub Night Trivia
Trivia Night at a pub or restaurant in the UK is very big. Taking this virtual is a fun way to connect with your friends, family or colleagues. The host can create a general quiz using the platform kahoot, share their screen and let the games begin! Getting prizes for the top 3 winners can really make trivia night exciting.
2. Mixology Class
Do you miss meeting your friends at a restaurant or bar for a drink? Attending a virtual mixology class will allow you to feel like you are right back there. Don’t have the right supplies? The Studio hosts public mixology classes where they provide all items needed to make the delicious drinks from the jigger to the garnish. Their flare bartender Martin is very informative and entertaining. You will be able to wow your guests with delicious cocktails once lockdown is over!
3. Escape Room
A virtual escape room is a great team building activity for your staff who are working from home. You can put your employees in teams and have them work together to complete the game. This is a great opportunity to bring people from all different departments to work together and get to know one another. Getting cool prizes for your employees to win for escaping will really take this activity to another level!
4. Paint Party
Taking part in a virtual paint party is perfect for people of all ages and group sizes. Whether it’s for a date night, birthday party or team building activity, there are so many benefits to painting. Here at The Studio Paint Bar we host public paint parties every Friday and Saturday night at 7pm. Purchase a class and deluxe paint kit for only $49.99. Our paint kits come with reusable paint brushes, a 12 x 16 canvas, paint, mixing palette, and a tablecloth. Check out our calendar of events here. We are also now on Uber, so you can have a paint kit delivered right to your door.
5. PowerPoint Party
Hosting a virtual power point party is the party you never knew you needed. Each guest will choose a topic of their choice to present on. These topics can be the most outrageous you can think of and really get everyone laughing hysterically. You can also do this for a birthday party and share a funny story or memory with the birthday person. Another great idea is to get everyone at work to create a 5 minute powerpoint of their favourite place on earth. This can lead to great stories and new connections being made.
6. Murder Mystery Party
There is something about a murder mystery party that makes me feel like I am a movie. And who would have thought it would be possible to do one virtually? Hosting a virtual murder mystery can be great for a birthday party or work event. Murder Mystery Co and My Mystery Party are two great companies who plan all the mystery for you!
